Research Focus
In our research efforts, we endeavour to understand skills gap across industry sectors
in relationship with public as well as private efforts underway to bridge the gap.
We apply this approach to generate a real-world picture that goes beyond numbers
and provides insights that can help make a difference. In short, we are focused
on generating perspectives that help business leaders and policy makers alike in
understanding the trends, and the role of Public-Private Partnership in creating
the skills base that will shape the future of India.
Thought Leadership
Laurus Institute continues to research on and deliberate areas associated with skill
development at various levels. We focus on generating perspectives that provide
a comprehensive view of the forces shaping skills development in India- demographic,
social, economic, cultural, technological and regulatory factors. Some of our thought
leadership white papers are:
- Success of skill development – what does it mean?
- Leveraging technology to achieve exponential results from skills development initiatives
- Challenging the future imperatives for transforming vocational education
- Moblising the masses-solving India’s student crunch in vocational education
